Paper Machine Monitor

Fully automated acquisition of paper roll in case the roll has to be changed.

Produced quantities automatically monitored as required. Instructions transmitted in time to the paper machine concerning changes to width, paper weight or quality. Measurement controls on paper rolls automatically despatched to the lab with continuous real-time display of the current state.

Re-grading of the paper roll to conform to other production protocols, or despatch of measurement requirements for a new pattern.

Definition of the current state of the paper roll ensures that all those involved in the process are fully aware of the exact situation of the paper roll.

The system can mark out for wastage any part of the paper roll (including one particular area of the surface). This allows the paper cutter to recognize which sections of the paper are faulty before cutting. The roll cut from the marked section is automatically rejected and coded according to the referent fault code.

Quantity and production time statistics summarized by type, quality and paper weight are prepared for all remaining production programs, allowing for immediate updates on times of expected switchovers.

Continuous display of key parameters of actual quality produced. Variation trends can be displayed in the form of tables or charts.

Setting the cutting sequence of the paper roll and the production protocol for the roll cutter, continuous feedback regarding the operation of the roll cutter.
