PaperNavigator for Pulp and Paper
Fine Programming System
Finalized cutting plans are production programmable in part or
in their entirety. Production initiation is supported by a whole series of
automatic sequence options. The system also allows for margin reduction or
increases in sequences as well as sequence changes.
The system automatically prescribes quality specifications for
the given production protocols. However, the production programmer is always
able to modify these specifications after taking into account the most
critical orders in the cutting plan as well as quality parameters still
feasible to be produced.
Issued production programs are automatically displayed on the
paper machine minder’s monitor. Operators receive on-screen notification if
the sequence of an already issued production program is modified by the planner.
Another function allows for planned-versus-actual comparisons of
issued daily production programs. This makes it simple to analyse the reasons
why certain elements of the planner’s scheme were not realized.
